Nutriplix LLC ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy explains how the Nutriplix mobile application ("App") collects, uses, and safeguards your information.
Our core philosophy is simple: We do not collect any personally identifiable information (PII), we do not sell your data, and we do not show advertisements.
By using Nutriplix, you agree to the processing of your data as described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect and Process
Because Nutriplix uses an anonymous authentication system, we do not require or collect personal details such as your real name, email address, or phone number. We only process the following anonymous data to provide our core features:
Dietary Inputs (Photos and Text): To log your meals and provide calorie recommendations, you may take pictures of your food or provide text descriptions. Note on Voice Input: If you use voice commands to log food, your speech is transcribed into text in real-time. We do not record, store, or collect your audio files.
Anonymous Device & App Identifiers: We generate anonymous user IDs to manage your app preferences, meal logs, and subscription status.
Usage and Analytics Data: We collect anonymous data regarding how you interact with the App (e.g., screens visited, crash reports) to improve performance and fix bugs.
Purchase Data: If you purchase a premium subscription, our payment processing partners collect transaction history. We do not have access to your credit card information.

2. How We Use Your Information
The information we collect is used exclusively for the following purposes:
To provide, maintain, and improve the Nutriplix calorie tracking features.
To process your text and photo inputs using Artificial Intelligence to estimate nutritional value and provide dietary recommendations.
To manage anonymous accounts and synchronize your meal logs via our secure database.
To process and manage your in-app purchases and subscriptions.
To analyze app performance and resolve technical issues.

3. Third-Party Services
To provide our services, we share strictly necessary, anonymized data with trusted third-party service providers. We do not sell your data to any of these providers. They are bound by their own privacy policies:
OpenAI: We use OpenAI's API to analyze your food photos and text logs to return calorie estimates and recommendations. (According to OpenAI’s API privacy practices, data sent via their API is not used to train their artificial intelligence models).
Supabase: We use Supabase for our secure database and backend infrastructure. Your registration is entirely anonymous, and your meal history is stored here using a random, anonymous identifier.
Adapty.io: We use Adapty to manage in-app purchases and subscriptions. Adapty processes anonymous device identifiers and purchase receipts to verify your premium status.
Firebase (by Google): We use Firebase for app analytics and crash reporting. Firebase collects anonymous device identifiers and usage data to help us understand how the App is used and to fix technical bugs.

4. Device Permissions
To function properly, Nutriplix may request access to certain device features:
Microphone & Speech Recognition: Required to allow you to log meals using your voice. The audio is transcribed into text on the fly and is not recorded or stored by us.
Camera & Photo Library: Required to take or upload pictures of your meals for AI analysis.
You can enable or disable these permissions at any time through your device’s settings.

5. Data Security
We implement reasonable and appropriate security measures to protect your anonymous data from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. All data transfers between the App and our backend services (including third-party APIs) are encrypted using industry-standard protocols (HTTPS/TLS).
6. Data Retention and Account Deletion
We retain your anonymous meal logs and preference data only for as long as you use the App.
Right to Deletion: In compliance with Apple’s App Store guidelines and international privacy standards, you have the right to delete your anonymous account and all associated data at any time. You can do this directly within the App by navigating to Settings > Delete Account. Once initiated, your anonymous profile and all associated meal logs will be permanently deleted from our Supabase database.

7. Children's Privacy
Nutriplix is not directed to individuals under the age of 13 (or under 16 in certain jurisdictions). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with any data, please contact us, and we will promptly delete it.

8. No Sale of Data & No Advertising
We want to be perfectly clear: Nutriplix LLC does not sell, rent, or trade your data to any third parties for commercial purposes. Furthermore, our App is entirely ad-free. Our business model is supported solely through in-app subscriptions, ensuring your data is never monetized.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. We will notify you of any material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy and, where appropriate, through a notice within the App.
