Welcome to Nutriplix!
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Nutriplix mobile application ("App"), provided by Nutriplix LLC ("we," "our," or "us").
By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the App.

1. Important Medical & Nutritional Disclaimer
Nutriplix is not a medical device, and we do not provide medical advice.
The App is designed solely for informational, educational, and self-management purposes. The nutritional information, calorie tracking, and recommendations provided by the App are estimates based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) analysis of the photos, voice transcriptions, or text you provide.
We do not guarantee the 100% accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any nutritional data.
The App should not be used to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition (including eating disorders, diabetes, or allergies).
Always consult with a qualified healthcare provider or a registered dietitian before changing your diet, starting a new nutrition plan, or if you have any health-related questions.

2. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
Nutriplix utilizes third-party Artificial Intelligence (OpenAI) to analyze food logs and estimate calories. While we strive for high quality, AI technology has inherent limitations. The AI may misidentify food items, estimate incorrect portion sizes, or provide inaccurate caloric values. By using the App, you acknowledge and accept that all AI-generated nutritional metrics are approximate and should be verified independently if strict dietary tracking is required for your health.

3. User Accounts and Privacy
We use an anonymous authentication system to protect your privacy. You are not required to provide personally identifiable information (such as your name or email) to use the App.
You are responsible for any activity that occurs under your anonymous device account.
Since accounts are device-linked and anonymous, if you lose access to your device or delete the App without syncing or backing up your data via our cloud infrastructure, your data may be unrecoverable.

4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use Nutriplix only for lawful purposes. You agree not to:
Use the App in any way that violates any applicable local, national, or international law.
Upload or submit photos or text that contain illegal, offensive, or inappropriate content.
Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, hack, or disrupt the App, its servers (Supabase), or its integration with third-party APIs (OpenAI, Adapty, Firebase).
Use the App's AI features to generate high volumes of automated requests.

5. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases
Nutriplix offers premium features through auto-renewable subscriptions managed via your app store provider (e.g., Apple App Store).
Billing: Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
Cancellation: You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your App Store Account Settings after purchase. Deleting the Nutriplix App from your device does not cancel your subscription.
Refunds: All billing and refunds are handled directly by Apple (or your respective app store). We cannot process refunds directly.

6. Intellectual Property
All rights, title, and interest in and to the App (excluding the text and photos you input), including its overall design, logo, graphics, user interface, and software code, are the exclusive property of Nutriplix LLC. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

7. Third-Party Services
The App relies on third-party services, including OpenAI (for AI processing), Supabase (for secure anonymous databases), Adapty.io (for subscription management), and Firebase (for analytics and crash reporting). We are not responsible for any outages, errors, or issues originating from these third-party providers.

8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nutriplix LLC, its directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:
Your access to, use of, or inability to access or use the App.
Any inaccuracies or errors in the AI-generated calorie estimates or dietary recommendations.
Any health issues or physical distress resulting from your reliance on the App's nutritional data.

9. "As Is" Warranty
The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Armenia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Yerevan, Armenia.

11. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. By continuing to access or use our App after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
